Membership

SKA membership is open to each and every student kitesurfer, and one year alumni. You’ll need to be a member to ride at any of our events, so you’ll want to know how to sign up. Now that we’re affiliated with the BKSA, all you need to do to become a member is head to www.britishkitesurfing.co.uk and sign up, making sure to tick the “SKA” box when asked which club you wish to be a part of.

The only exception to this rule is if you’re a beginner, coming to an event specifically for beginner training.

If you’re already a member of the BKSA, we’ll get you down as a member of the SKA just as soon as you come to one of our events.

Why are we affiliated with the BKSA? It means that we can do what we have been doing, but without spending quite so much money, and we’ll do our best to pass this saving on to you. It’s early days yet, but we hope this relationship will open up a few more doors for us and for you, our members. The BKSA makes sure we run things as well as we possibly can, makes sure we’re insured for each and every event, and greases the wheels when we’re dealing with land owners and councils, as well as providing invaluable advice and unparalleled experience.
