As well as having a number of great sponsors, the SKA works in association with a number of companies.
Beach Break Live festival
The SKA will be continuing it’s association with Beach Break Live festival this year, but in an even more impressive fashion! That’s right, a slider jam part deux will be hitting the shores of south Wales in mid June. To see how good last year was click here.
Kite Crowd Forum
Kite Crowd are the largest kite based forum in the UK. They help the SKA with spreading the word on it’s events and competitions. If you have any questions to do with kiting, you can probably get them answered here! Big thanks to Neil and the crew for everything they’ve done for the SKA in 2010.
Kitemare shop and repairs
Kitemare, based in Barnstaple is a kite shop which specialises in kite repairs. These were key to running the Slider jam in November 2010; without their help we probably wouldn’t have been able to run the jam at all. They worked day and night in their warehouse building the awesome rails and kickers we had at the event and for that we are forever grateful. Look out for the same rails at BeachBreakLive in summer 2011!
Onepiece
Onepiece helped provide some of the coolest prizes we could have hoped for at the Slider Jam in 2010 – we believe that their products are some of the most awesome Student Apparel on the market and that everyone should have one! After Freddie showed off his own personal OnePiece, everyone made it quite clear how much they wanted the prizes at the Jam. More please!
