Don’t let the long hair fool you; Mr Gregory is the MAN at getting newcomers into kitesurfing.  His instructor experience is going to benefit the SKA’s newbies hugely, and it won’t be long before any beginner under his wing manages to get up and riding.  Unlike many instructors however, Harry likes to spend time improving his riding.  This was very apparent at the recent nationals when he successfully relaunched his kite five times without a hitch; something which impressed the judges so much that they awarded him third best Intermediate!

Harry’s going to make sure that any beginners attending SKA events learn in a safe way, which follows about every teaching syllabus there is out there.  If you have any questions about learning how to kitesurf, or even fly a kite, drop him a mail.

You give Ali anything, and he will have picked it up and mastered it before you have time to blink. Only kitesurfing for 3 years, Ali is already the best rider on the committee, competing on the british pro circuit when he can wangle time off uni! God knows how many years land kiting means he has no fear, and will do just about anything under a kite if you persuade him. Another 100% boots rider on the water, making sliders in his spare time. You couldn’t get much better for an intermediate rep! All this talent comes with a price though…Ali gets the massive task of helping put together one of the toughest events of the year – the Nationals Slider Jam. No doubt he’ll want to compete too, so rest assured he’ll do everything in his power to make it happen, and in a big big way. If you need advice on anything from going upwind, to going pro, get in touch with Ali, our very own intermediate and professional representative for 2010/11.

Which uni do you go to: Just left soton, miss you suks! now a real life doctor.

Is a GIRL, and she KITESURFS! That should be enough to attract your attention, but in case it’s not, how’s about this? Hooked after 3 short months of kitesurfing she signed the next year of her life away taking up the role of Bosun for the kitesurfers at Southampton University. Whilst in her fifth year. As a medic. With the odds stacked against her she kept the club on the water, and managed to nail the basics, and herself, very successfully in 2009/10. Now she wants to get the people that really matter, the babes, on the water too without any pressure from those annoying boys. As long as we can hang out with them once they’re up and riding we can’t see the harm in that, so if them is you, and you’re looking for a testosterone free route onto the water, keep an eye on Charlie, our very qualified Chick Rep for 2010/11.
